Regional Lending Manager Jim Harrington

CANTON, Mass. (August 11, 2025) – Bank of Canton recently named James F. Harrington (NMLS #756148) regional lending manager, specializing in the South Shore area. He becomes the eighth mortgage loan originator to join the bank since 2023.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Bank of Canton team,” said Harrington, who has originated loans for local and national banks and mortgage companies for 35 years. “They have access to great first-time homebuyer programs and competitive pricing for experienced homeowners and investment property owners, too. It’s a client-focused operation and I welcome the opportunity to contribute.”

Harrington is a past recipient of the South Shore Realtors’ Affiliate of the Year award and has been recognized in prior roles for his strong production. At Bank of Canton, he will report to J. Scott Gannon (NMLS #80565), senior vice president of residential and consumer lending.

“Jim earns praise from his clients and business partners for his responsiveness and diligence, and he makes the mortgage experience smooth for all parties,” said Gannon. “We enthusiastically welcome him to the bank and look forward to his continued success.”

Harrington earned his bachelor’s degree in management science from Bridgewater State University. A resident of Plymouth, he enjoys hiking, playing golf and spending time with his family.
