Bank of Canton Appoints Robert M. Erasmi to Senior Vice President Role

Longtime community banking leader to oversee consumer, business, and municipal banking

CANTON, Mass. (April 1, 2026)Robert M. Erasmi recently joined Bank of Canton’s executive team as senior vice president of retail & municipal banking and business development. In his new role, Erasmi will lead and develop the bank’s retail, business, and municipal banking functions, including the development and delivery of products and services, policies and processes, customer satisfaction, and overall performance and growth.

A former executive vice president and chief retail banking officer of a $2 billion mutual bank, Erasmi brings more than 40 years of business, municipal, and consumer banking experience and leadership to the role. Over his career, he has established business development teams and departments, developed and implemented new training and incentive programs, and led bank-wide community engagement and outreach efforts.

In his new role, Erasmi will report to the bank’s president and CEO, Michael F. Lindberg.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Erasmi is also a dedicated leader and volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, serving as a current ambassador and past vice president of its board of directors. He founded the Dedham Cystic Fibrosis Walk, which has raised millions of dollars during its 25-year existence, and he is also a longtime volunteer with HESSCO and a frequent participant in local charitable walks. He lives in Mansfield with his wife, Janet.
