To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

By asking you to provide your personal information to us online and to verify that information with our customer service personnel offline, you not only help keep our communities safe, but also keep your financial identity safe by ensuring that unauthorized individuals can not open accounts in your name.

Three Steps

Our Online Application consists of three simple steps:

Step 1 – Download and review our account & fee disclosures.
Step 2 – Choose your account, and enter your personal information.
Step 3 – Verify your information with our Customer Service team, provide a signature, and fund your new account.

You will be asked to send us your initial deposit and a “signature card” that our Customer Service team will mail to you. Or – for faster processing – you can provide your signature and deposit at any branch during business hours. Your account is officially activated once we receive your signature and deposit.

Eligibility

Before you begin, make sure you meet all the Online Application eligibility requirements:

You’re at least 18 years old
You have a valid email address
You have a Massachusetts residential address
You’re a U.S. citizen, or resident alien with a valid social security or tax ID number
