Jeff Anderson Named Regional Lending Manager at Bank of Canton

Accomplished mortgage lender brings nearly 20 years’ experience to new role

Regional Lending Manager Jeff Anderson (NMLS #23521)

CANTON, Mass. (July 24, 2023) – Bank of Canton recently added accomplished mortgage lender Jeff Anderson to its growing residential lending team.

“I’m very excited to be joining the team at Bank of Canton,” said Anderson. “They have a great product set, great pricing, and access to several agency programs that make housing more affordable – everything you’d want from a local mutual bank.”

A creative problem-solver who has originated mortgages throughout Greater Boston since 2004, Anderson assumes the role of regional lending manager, reporting out of the bank’s 490 Turnpike Street headquarters in Canton.

“I love working with clients who bring plenty of questions to the table,” continued Anderson, “especially first-time homebuyers. They’re always going to get an educated and honest answer from me. I put myself in their shoes and offer sincere advice, as if they were family.”

Anderson becomes the third mortgage lender to join Bank of Canton’s origination team in 2023 under new Senior Vice President J. Scott Gannon (NMLS #80565).

“Jeff will be able to make an immediate impact,” said Gannon, who previously worked with Anderson at a regional mortgage company. “He impresses clients constantly with his ability to listen and provide guidance, and he finds solutions whenever an unexpected challenge arises. We’re fortunate to have him at Bank of Canton and look forward to his contributions.”

Anderson received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bridgewater State College. He lives in Norwell with his wife, Dawn, and two children, Bianca and Ryan.
