Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager Jimmy Tran (NMLS# 835239)
CANTON, Mass. (September 1, 2026) – Jimmy Tran recently joined Bank of Canton as assistant vice president and manager of the bank’s 67 North Main Street branch in downtown Randolph. He takes over for Christine Johnston, who was tapped to lead the bank’s Canton Center main office branch in June.
“Bank of Canton will soon be the only mutual bank left in Randolph,” said Tran, “so there is tremendous opportunity to bring new customers into the fold who still expect a high level of personalized service and community support from their bank.
“I’m very excited to return to Randolph and lead a branch team that provides that kind of service,” he continued. “I’m looking forward to working with our current customers, welcoming new customers, and helping Bank of Canton grow in the Randolph area.”
A longtime resident of Avon, Tran brings to the position extensive knowledge of the local community, having previously held branch leadership roles for large regional banks in Randolph, Canton, Brockton and Westwood. Throughout his career, his branches have often been recognized for meeting and exceeding their performance goals.
“Jimmy is a leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams,” said Tran’s manager, Robert Erasmi, senior vice president of retail and municipal banking/business development. “I’m very confident in his ability to build on Christine’s great work at our Randolph branch and deliver outstanding banking service and support to Randolph residents and businesses.
“We’re very excited for what’s ahead, and Jimmy’s contributions will play a large role in our future growth and success.”
In his spare time, Tran enjoys working out and spending time with his wife and children. He has volunteered at the Canton Helpline Food Pantry and the Taunton Boys and Girls Club, and served meals at Father Bill’s & MainSpring.
