Bank of Canton Hires Christine Johnston to Lead Randolph Branch

Experienced AVP/branch manager returns to new bank in downtown Randolph

Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager Christine Johnston

CANTON, Mass. (January 23, 2026) – Experienced local banker Christine Johnston recently joined Bank of Canton as assistant vice president, branch manager of the bank’s 67 North Main Street location in Randolph. Having previously managed Randolph Savings Bank’s flagship branch for nine years, Johnston is excited to return to downtown Randolph to continue her career.

“I’ve served Randolph and this part of the south metro for many years,” said Johnston, “living with my daughter right across Route 24. I was born and raised in the area. It’s part of a distinct South Shore community, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to serve once again the businesses, families and individuals that call this community home.”

Johnston began her career in the hospitality industry, where she helped develop talent as a quality-certified trainer and director of sales. Her proficiency led to opportunities in banking, including branch management and government banking roles. In her new position at Bank of Canton, Johnston will be responsible for the overall performance of the bank’s Randolph branch, including daily operations, sales and service.

“Christine is a go-getter with many outstanding accomplishments in Randolph over her career,” said VP/Retail Branch Administrator Eric Cappellano. “She’s eager to reconnect with past customers, local residents and organizations, and offer them exceptional service and banking experiences at Bank of Canton.”

Johnston is a former board member of the Connect24 Business Alliance. She has been recognized for her volunteer work by past employers, and looks forward to participating in the area’s nonprofit community. She graduated from Massasoit Community College with a certificate in travel and tourism, and enjoys traveling in her spare time.
