CANTON, Mass. (June 26, 2017) – Lifelong Quincy resident and mortgage lender Terry Connor has been named Regional Lending Manager at Bank of Canton. Based out of the bank’s 60 McGrath Highway branch in Quincy, Connor will work directly with South Shore homebuyers and homeowners to explore home financing possibilities and obtain loans that meet their specific goals.

Connor has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending, most recently at Santander Bank where she earned several Top Producer awards. “Quincy’s waterfront location, proximity to Boston, and its current booming real estate market make it a dynamic place to work and live for a real estate professional,” said Connor. “I am also excited to work for a bank that believes in giving back to the community, a philosophy that I share.”

In addition to her responsibilities at Bank of Canton, she currently serves as a board member and treasurer at QCARE (Quincy After School Child Care), as a basketball coach at Sacred Heart, and as a member of the Merrymount Neighborhood Association.

“Terry brings to Bank of Canton a wealth of experience both as a loan officer and as a longtime member of the Quincy community,” said George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential and Consumer Lending. “She’s an expert on the South Shore market. With 20 years in the business, she’s developed an expert professional network of local realtors and attorneys, and helped many buyers from the Greater Quincy area obtain financing. She works hard for her clients and her community, and we’re very excited she’s joined our team.”
