CANTON, Mass. (February 6, 2020) – Brian J. Allsop, investment executive with B.O.C. Financial Services (located at Bank of Canton) and Infinex Financial Group, was recently named a 2020 Five Star Wealth Manager. This year marks Allsop’s ninth consecutive year earning the Five Star designation.

The Five Star Professional award is based on ten objective criteria, including assets under management (AUM), client retention, education and professional designations. In December, Bank Investment Consultant magazine also announced that Allsop ranked among its 2019 Top 100 Bank Advisors in the U.S., based on his AUM, production, year-over-year growth, and other factors.

“It’s an honor to receive the Five Star designation and rank among the top bank advisors in the country,” said Allsop. “I truly enjoy working with my clients. I enjoy helping them identify and achieve their financial goals, and seeing the change in their demeanor when they worry less and feel more confident about their finances. Those moments are really how we measure success.”

Although his practice serves families and individuals of all ages, Allsop specializes in pre- and post-retirement income planning. He was recently certified by the Corporation for Social Security Claiming Strategies as an expert in the field.

More than 3,500 Boston-area wealth managers were considered for the Five Star Wealth Manager designation in 2020, and only 13% of the candidates received the award. For more information about Brian Allsop and the Five Star Wealth Manager selection methodology, see http://bit.ly/allsop2020.
