Bank of Canton Steven B Young

CANTON, Mass. (March 16, 2015) – Steven B. Young has recently been named Vice President – Marketing Director at Bank of Canton, where he will oversee the bank’s marketing and communications programs in support of six business lines. He brings seven years of banking experience and nearly a decade in corporate marketing communications.

“I was struck by the amount of investment and involvement Bank of Canton has in its communities,” Young said. “In addition to the banking relationships it forms through the course of business – such as residential and commercial lending, deposit services, estate planning, et cetera – Bank of Canton has always generously and thoughtfully engaged with the people who work and live in the surrounding area. The bank has an earnest desire for its partners to be successful.

“As Vice President of Marketing, I see a lot of opportunity to get that message out,” he continued. “I’m eager to develop programs that pay tribute to the bank’s rich local heritage as well as its modern banking capabilities and product set. There’s a great energy here, and I’m excited to help the organization grow and build on its achievements.”

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Young served as Marketing Manager at Brookline Bank, where he focused on developing the bank’s online marketing program and also managed its traditional media and direct mail programs. He also spent three years at Citizens Bank in various marketing roles, including Education Finance Marketing Manager and Top Customer Marketing Manager. He also accepted a temporary assignment with Citizens’ Direct Marketing team at the invitation of senior management.

Anthony Caruso, Senior Vice President/Retail Banking at Bank of Canton, stated, “We are very excited to have Steven join our team. He appreciates the special role Bank of Canton plays in the community, and we’re confident in his ability to help Bank of Canton grow and achieve its many goals. He’s a great fit for our organization.”
