Bank of Canton Financial Services Executive Ranked #1 Bank Advisor in Massachusetts

Brian J. Allsop of B.O.C. Financial Services Recognized in Two Publications

Bank of Canton Brian J Allsop

CANTON, Mass. (February 23, 2015) – Brian J. Allsop, Vice President of B.O.C. Financial Services and Financial Advisor with Infinex Investments Inc., has been recognized in Bank Investment Consultant’s 2014 Top 50 Bank Advisors, an annual listing of the most successful bank advisors nationwide. He is the publication’s #1 ranked bank advisor in Massachusetts for the second consecutive year.

Allsop was also recently named a Five Star Wealth Manager for the fourth consecutive year by Five Star Professional. He was featured in a special section of the February issue of Boston Magazine.

“The success I’ve enjoyed – and the success of B.O.C. Financial Services overall – should be attributed to the ongoing trust and confidence our clients have in our practice,” Allsop said. “These honors really belong to our clients. It’s their belief in our investment approach, and their referrals and introductions to others, that have strengthened our practice and allowed us to better serve them.”

Through Infinex Investments Inc., B.O.C. Financial Services surpassed $200 million in assets under management in 2014, with $188 million personally overseen by Allsop. The practice now serves over 1,000 households.

“Most rewarding to us are the ‘success stories’ where we help clients live more enjoyable lives,” Allsop continued. “I’ve worked with new clients who have saved diligently for years, but never had a strategy – they just knew they were supposed to save. They didn’t know how much of it they could spend, and when they could start to spend it. Once we help them understand their long-term financial needs and capabilities, it can allow them to live more comfortably and confidently.”

Bank Investment Consultant’s ranking criteria included assets under management (AUM), trailing 12-month production, year-over-year percentage increase in AUM and trailing 12-month production, and other factors. Candidates for Five Star Wealth Manager awards are evaluated on criteria such as short-term and long-term client retention rates, AUM, and education and professional designations.
