Bank of Canton's Juan Barrera Receives Business Member Award From Randolph Community Partnership

November 2007- James D. Egan, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton is pleased to announce that Juan Barrera, Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President of Bank of Canton's Route 138 branch, was honored at the Third Annual Randolph Community Partnership (RCP), Inc. Civic Awards Gala on October 25, 2007.

Barrera, a former member of the RCP Board of Directors, received the "Business Member Award" for 2007 for "providing guidance to the organization and working with RCP to create a workplace educational experience for their students interested in a career in banking." The awards ceremony, which was held at Lombardo's in Randolph, celebrates people who provide support to the organization and help RCP succeed in their mission to provide opportunities for the students in their program.

"We are very proud when one of our valued employees is recognized for their achievements," Egan said. "Bank of Canton is a proud member of the Randolph Community Partnership and the communities we serve. These awards pay great tribute and showcase the significance of our efforts."
