Bank of Canton Promotes Charles Walker to Assistant Manager/Branch Officer

October 2007- James D. Egan, President & Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Charles Walker has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager for Bank of Canton's Quincy location at 275 Quincy Avenue in Quincy, Mass. In his new role, Walker will be responsible for supporting branch management by managing day-to-day operations, policies and procedures.

"I have had the pleasure of serving three generations of customers during my banking career," Walker said. "In my new position, I look forward to continuing Bank of Canton's commitment to providing the high quality customer service that our customers and communities recognize as our hallmark."

Walker has 10 years experience with Bank of Canton and more than 35 years experience serving the banking needs of the Quincy community. Before joining Bank of Canton, he spent 25 years with The Cooperative Bank in Quincy. His most recently worked at The Cooperative Bank as Assistant Vice President where he was responsible for customer service and daily branch administration tasks.

A Norwell resident, Walker received a Bachelor of Arts from North Adams State College in North Adams, MA. He shares the excitement of this new position with his wife, two children and two grandchildren, all of whom wish him luck in his new role.
