Bank of Canton Promotes Lillian MacKinnon to Vice President of Commercial Lending

July 2007- James D. Egan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce the promotion of Lillian E. MacKinnon to the position of Vice President of Commercial Lending. Based at the company's Canton office, located at 490 Turnpike Street, MacKinnon has been with Bank of Canton for 13 years, previously holding the titles of Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending and Loan Operations Officer. In her new role, MacKinnon will be responsible for managing Bank of Canton's Loan Operations Department. This position includes overseeing the pre- and post-legal review of loan documentation for residential, commercial, and construction loans, as well as attracting new commercial loans.

An industry veteran with 30 years of banking experience, MacKinnon worked for Shawmut Bank for 17 years as a Senior Administrative Assistant of Commercial Lending prior to joining Bank of Canton.

"Lillian's industry experience, combined with her strategic perspective on consumer lending and knowledge of commercial loans operations, made her the best choice for this position," Egan said. "We look forward to the opportunities she will create for the Bank and for our customers."

MacKinnon, who studied business administration at Northeastern University, currently resides in Bridgewater with her two children Matthew, 21, and Melissa, 18.
