Bank of Canton Hires Alan D. Johnson as Regional Lending Manager

June 2007- James D. Egan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Alan D. Johnson was hired as Regional Lending Manager for Bank of Canton. Johnson will be instrumental in servicing residential customers throughout the North Shore. His duties include originating mortgages, assisting customers in their home buying and refinancing decisions and managing the flow of the loan process for customers, from the beginning of the application process through closing.

An industry veteran with more than 12 years of professional experience, Johnson was most recently a Vice President at Coldwell Banker NE Moves Mortgage in Beverly, Mass., where he managed three offices on the North Shore and was recognized as a Top Producer.

Johnson was attracted to Bank of Canton because of the organization's commitment to providing quality products with a matching level of customer service. Johnson received a degree in Mine Engineering and Management from Whitwood College in Yorkshire, England and a degree in General Disciplines from Minsthorpe Community College in West Yorkshire, England. He also holds a certificate in Computer Studies from Rockville College in Rockville, Md. In his spare time, Johnson is an avid outdoor sportsman and enjoys participating in numerous fundraising efforts.
