Bank of Canton's Main Office Holds Branch Luau

June 2007- Bank of Canton recently held a Branch Luau at its Corporate Headquarters, located at 490 Turnpike Street in Canton, in celebration of the launch of its newest account, Convenience Checking. Residents throughout the South Shore came to the event to say 'aloha' to ATM fees. Highlights of the event included hula dance lessons, a world class hula performance and a hula hoop contest for children. Danielle Montella of North Easton won the branch hula hoop contest and went on to compete for a prize worth $500 at the Brockton ROX's "Bank of Canton Night" on May 25, where she came in second place. "Everyone had a great time at the event. The children loved the hula hoop contest and everyone learned how to master the art of hula dance," said McNiff. "We were excited to host such a fun community event."

Keeping up with the Hawaiian theme, Bank of Canton is also giving away a trip for two to Hawaii in honor of their new checking account, Convenience Checking. Customers with a Convenience Checking account will be able to use any of the 400,000 ATMs nationwide without fees from Bank of Canton. The Bank will also automatically refund the ATM fees other banks charge up to $15 per month. "What better way to say 'aloha' to ATM fees than to have two lucky customers experience the benefits of Convenience Checking first-hand while on a great Hawaiian vacation," said Anthony Caruso, Senior Vice President of Branch Administration at Bank of Canton.
