April 2007- George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Malcolm Nordley joined the company as a Regional Lending Manager. Specializing in first time homebuyers, Nordley's primary responsibility will be to assist people looking to purchase or refinance a home on Cape Cod. This includes: originating mortgages; assisting customers in their home buying and refinancing decisions; and managing the flow of the loan process, from application to closing.

"I am looking forward to offering my customers personalized attention and helping them obtain a loan that best fits their needs," said Nordley. "My background in real estate and banking will help give my clients the big picture. I am thrilled to be part of a mutual community bank that offers such a wide array of products and competitive pricing."

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Nordley was a Mortgage Loan Officer for several market lenders, including Fleet Mortgage, Bank of America Mortgage and a local Cape Cod mortgage company. "Malcolm's extensive background in residential lending will benefit Bank of Canton and our customers," DeMello said. "His regional knowledge and experience will be beneficial for all of our Cape Cod customers; we look forward to the opportunities he will create."
