Bank of Canton's Miguel DeSousa Accepted into MassHousing Home Buyer Counselor Program

April 2007- James D. Egan, President & Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Miguel DeSousa, Southeastern Lending Manager at Bank of Canton, has been accepted into the MassHousing Home Buyer Counselor Program. As a lending partner, DeSousa will be aiding those in need of mortgage lending and insurance. MassHousing provides home ownership and rental opportunities to Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes. As an experienced professional, Miguel will utilize his years in the mortgage banking industry to help customers through the confusion of mortgage options and find the loan that is best suited for them.

DeSousa, who came to the United States in 1997, has been in the banking and finance industry for 12 years. Prior to joining Bank of Canton, he worked as a Senior Account Specialist at State Street, a Customer Representative at Citizens Bank and Group Leader of Marketing for Portuguese Commercial Bank in Lisbon, Portugal. In his spare time the Mansfield resident enjoys spending time with his family.
