Bank of Canton Says Goodbye to Pamela Spear

February 8, 2007- Pamela Spear, who was often referred to as the "heart" of Bank of Canton, recently retired after nearly 14 years of service. In 1993, Spear joined Bank of Canton's Main Office in the Check Processing Department and was quickly promoted to a Teller position. She later took a position as the Main Office's Receptionist and for nearly a decade, she has answered telephone calls and greeted bank customers.

"To our customers, Pam was the face of Bank of Canton," said Paul McNiff, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Bank of Canton's Main Office.

"Her constant focus on customer service made Pam a vital member of our team," said Jim Egan, President and CEO of Bank of Canton. "We wish her all the best in her retirement; she will surely be missed."

Spear is currently celebrating her retirement in Hawaii with her partner Karl Kreeb and plans on spending each winter on the island.
