Bank of Canton Hosts Safety in Schools Police Training Seminar
November 2006- Bank of Canton hosted a Safety in Schools Police Training Seminar on November 3rd at its corporate headquarters, located at 490 Turnpike Street in Canton, Mass. The event, presented by the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, was a free seminar for law enforcement agencies and school officials that are located in the southeast/west region of Boston. The Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council is a non-profit organization led by the chief executive officers of 42 law enforcement agencies. It was established for the purpose of promoting greater public safety by providing a working collaboration between law enforcement agencies that are located in the southeast/west region of Boston.
"Bank of Canton is honored to support a program that helps ensure the safety of our children," said Jim Egan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton. "We commend the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, the dedicated members of the area's police department and school officials for all of their hard work in maintaining a safe environment for our children."
