Bank of Canton's Jeanne Roche Honored by Randolph Community Partnership

October 2006- Jeanne Roche, Randolph Branch Manager, Bank of Canton, was honored at the Second Annual Randolph Community Partnership (RCP) Inc. Civic Awards Gala on September 29, 2006. Roche, a member of the RCP Board of Directors, received the "Business Member Award" for 2006 for "providing guidance to the organization and working with RCP to create a workplace educational experience for their students interested in a career in banking." The awards ceremony, which was held at The Lantana in Randolph, celebrates people who provide support to the organization and help RCP succeed in their mission to provide opportunities for the students in their program.

"The Partnership is primarily funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education Adult and Community Learning Services grant," said Gloria Watanabe, Executive Director, RCP Inc. "Unfortunately, these funds do not cover all of the costs for running a high quality program. Thanks to a dedicated and highly qualified staff, we have become known as one of the top adult educational programs of its kind in the Commonwealth."
