January 2006- James D. Egan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that John Cutting has recently joined the company as a Regional Lending Manager. Cutting will be working at Bank of Canton's corporate office, located at 490 Turnpike Street in Canton, where he will be servicing the residential lending needs of consumers throughout the South Shore from Bridgewater, Brockton and Whitman to Milton, Dedham and Medfield, as well as all surrounding towns.
Cutting is a banking industry veteran with more than 24 years of professional experience. Before joining Bank of Canton, he most recently held the title of Residential Mortgage Officer at Plymouth Savings Bank, where he worked for seven years. Cutting said he joined Bank of Canton based on its tradition of providing excellent customer service.
"Bank of Canton is a progressive mortgage banker that also has a history of providing great customer service that dates back to its founding in 1835," said Cutting. "The community bank mentality of providing exceptional service allows me to service my clients in an expeditious manner with the best products to meet their specific needs."
"Bank of Canton and its customers will profit from John's extensive background and dedication to his customers," Egan said. "We look forward to working with him in our Residential Lending Division."
Cutting has a B.S. in Public Administration from Suffolk University, Boston. He received honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1971 and he currently lives in Randolph with his wife of 38 years, Gerrie.
