30 -Year Industry Veteran Joins Bank of Canton
January 2006- James D. Egan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Kevin Wentzell has recently joined the company as a Residential Lending Manager. Wentzell will be working at Bank of Canton's corporate office, located at 490 Turnpike Street in Canton, servicing the residential lending needs of consumers throughout western Massachusetts, from his hometown of Milford, to his career roots in Marlborough, as well as all surrounding towns.
Wentzell is a banking industry veteran with more than 30 years of professional experience. Before joining Bank of Canton, he spent 18 years at Marlborough Savings Bank, where he most recently held the title of Sr. Vice President Mortgage and Consumer Lending . Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Hudson National Bank in Hudson where he was Assistant Vice President Retail Lending. He has also served on the Massachusetts Bankers Real Estate Loan Committee.

Wentzell, a Milford resident, attended Babson College, Wellesley, Mass. He has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Tri-County and the Marlborough Boys and Girls Club. He is also a fundraising volunteer for the American Heart Association and the Special Olympics. In his spare time, Wentzell coaches youth racquetball and participates in competitive racquetball as a member of the United States Racquetball Association.
