Bank of Canton Hires James Tilley as Regional Lending Manager

August 7, 2010 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that James “Jim” Tilley has joined the Bank’s Waltham Mortgage Center as a Regional Lending Manager. With more than 21 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Mr. Tilley’s primary duties include planning and originating residential mortgage loans and developing and maintaining successful relationships with contacts in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Jim served as a Loan Officer at Stoneham Bank and was a 19-year Partner at Moneco Financial in Wellesley. He resides in Winchester with his wife Jayne and their two sons, Brent and Jeffrey.

Mr. Tilley graduated with a BA in Business Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and went on to earn his Masters Degree in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston. Jim is an avid golfer and enjoys spending free time cooking, traveling and playing tennis. He is an active member of the Winchester Unitarian Universalist Society.
