Bank of Canton Donates $2,500 to Rainbow Child Development Center

September 2, 2009 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce the Bank’s recent donation of $2,500 to the Rainbow Child Development Center. This contribution will be used to help support the second phase of the Center’s renovation project at their Worcester location.

“The Rainbow Child Development Center has been providing care, education and therapeutic services to children and families in a safe and nurturing environment for the past four decades,” said Barbara Guthrie, Executive Director of the Rainbow Child Development Center. “This renovation project is vital to our growth and the welfare of our local children, and would not be possible without the support of the corporate partners like Bank of Canton. We appreciate their generosity and commitment to our community.”

We are thrilled to provide financial support to augment the time Gary Premo, Area Sales Manager for our Auburn Mortgage Center, has dedicated toward fundraising for and raising awareness of the Center.”

Founded in 1972, Rainbow Child Development Center is a licensed, non-profit childcare agency that provides educational, childcare, and family services in Central Massachusetts. Rainbow is licensed to care for over 290 children between six weeks and 13 years of age.
